1978.... qué lejos queda
1978 fue un año extraordinario en producciones cinematográficas y musicales, una de las más especiales la salida a los mercados de una banda formada por un par de hermanos y un par de pirados, uno de ellos quizás, posiblemente, uno de los mejores showmans del mundo.... Hoy en día en permanente pause, Van Halen siguen por derroteros de desidia y dejadez, no hay más que visitar su web....

Estuve a punto de verlos en Las Vegas el año pasado, pero el precio de las entradas era absurdo para un argentino que debe pagar 3,84 pesos por cada dolar!
Lo que había visto en YouTube no me impresionó para nada, así que desistí de la idea.
A los 15 minutos de haber comenzado el show, y cuando ya era imposible conseguir entradas, ya estaba arrepentido.
Así soy yo: inconsistente, y bastante pelotudo.
Ah, cuando vinieron al país en 1983, yo era muy pequeño para ir a verlos (tenía 12 años), sobre todo porque mis padres tangueros no me quisieron llevar!

Aunque mucho más me gustaron los dos conciertos de David Lee Roth que vimos en España, en pleno éxito, con Vai, Bisonette y demás... nunca he podido ver a Van Halen con Roth... pensaba que el año pasado podría ser.... pero la vida es así.... tampoco pude ver a Checkenfoot, nos suspendieron el concierto de Madrid.... así que la cosa está complicada.... no veo a Van Halen sin Michael Anthony, sus coros y su energía....
